Travel options
Travelling by Car
Update 16th July 2024: Please be aware of planned roadworks affecting the M8 in Glasgow between junctions 15 and 23 during the convention weekend, including potential road closures. Journey times may be affected and diversions may be in place. For more information and updates, please visit the Amey website.

There is ample parking available for the convention venue. The main car park is the multi-storey at 10 Stobcross Road, G3 8GS, which is operated by Glasgow City Council.

The car park is open 24 hours a day and has designated disabled blue badge parking bays. Payment of parking charges is required before you exit. See Ovo Hyrdo website link below for further details.

The OVO Hydro is located just outside the Glasgow Low Emissions Zone (LEZ). See the Glasgow City Council website for more information.

Travelling by Taxi
A taxi drop off and collection point is situated in front of OVO Hydro.
Travelling by Coach
Congregations who have arranged to travel by coach will have a designated Coach Captain who will be able to provide specific information regarding the pickup & drop-off locations and times. Please see your local congregation elders for more information.
Coach pickup points will be displayed on overhead screens on the main concourse after the close of each day’s program.

Safety Notice
Please can we encourage all to take extra precaution and to exercise vigilance when crossing the public road from the OVO Hydro to SEC Car Park 1 to board coaches.
Parents are encouraged to keep watch over their children at all times, but especially when crossing any road.
Travelling by Train
From the city centre, the OVO Hydro is a three-minute train ride from Glasgow Central station. The SEC has its own dedicated railway station – Exhibition Centre, which is a 5 minute walk from the OVO Hydro.
