Information on various facilities and services provided for convention delegates

Coats and bags may be checked in at the cloakroom on the main concourse near the east entrance.
Please do not leave personal belongings unattended in the seating areas after the program. G4S security staff may remove items left behind. Volunteers who have assignments after the program may check items into the cloakroom for safe keeping.

The First Aid department is based in the OVO Hydro Lounge on the main concourse near the west entrance. First Aid stations are also located in the main auditorium.
Please bear in mind that First Aid is for emergency situations only and first aiders are not authorised to dispense prescribed medication. Delegates who take prescribed medication are advised to bring it with them.
While the venue is accessible and seating for the elderly and infirm is provided, the convention is unable to provide facilities for those with special needs, such as quiet spaces or fragrance-free areas. If you have a serious health issue and are concerned about how you will cope at the convention, please discuss this with your local elders.

The convention program will be broadcast by FM Radio over a short distance covering the convention venue.
The FM frequency is 87.7 MHz.

Bringing modest food & drink provisions allows us time to enjoy association before and after each session. Note: no metal knives, cutlery or scissors are allowed at the venue.
There will also be hot and cold food and beverages available from the outlets on the main Hydro concourse. These outlets are operated by the following commercial catering vendors:
The Deli pods supply a variety of drinks, cakes, pastries and snacks.
Big Grill offers a Korean Fried Chicken Burger, with a Chickpea and Bean option.
Rock Salt serve Fish & Chips and Tempura Broccoli.
The Clydebuilt restaurant in the main SEC building offers two alternating menus, available here.

Lost property can be taken to or collected from the Lost & Found and Checkroom department on the the main concourse near the east entrance.
There is a ‘Mothers and Babies’ facility for feeding and changing in the OVO Hydro Lounge on the main ground level concourse near the east entrance. Parents are expected to bring their own supply of baby food, nappies, etc.

For the safety of others, prams and pushchairs are not permitted in the seating areas. Pram and pushchair storage facilities are provided by the Checkroom Department located on the main concourse near the east entrance.
Parents may consider adding contact details on the rear of their child’s lapel badge card in case they become separated during the convention. Having a photo of their child, taken on the day of the convention, is also helpful. In the event that a child is lost, report to the nearest available attendant immediately.
